Justin time for the NCAA and NFL seasons.

To recap the blogging problems from last year, they began when Drafttek switched over from a shared server environment to a private server, in order to accommodate existing traffic.  Traffic on the shared server was capped, causing users to periodically experience “page unavailable” problems and such.

The blog last year was hosted on Wordpress;  the look-and-feel of which was very bloggy.   This time around Wordpress was imported onto the Drafttek server (you can do that at no charge), which allows for unlimited customization.   The Drafttek blog, known as “Drafttek Drafttakes”, allows for ads to placed on the site.  This will allow our staff to earn a few sheckels for their work.  We’ll see how capitalism affects creativity.

Although the blog still looks somewhat utilitarian, it does resemble the primary Drafttek web site which was the end goal.
